Criminal charges for DUI brought against Arizona woman

It is not unusual for one bad decision to have many repercussions. Fortunately, that one bad decision does not have to set the tone for decisions made in the future. For instance, if the decision to get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol leads to criminal charges for DUI, the accused driver can work to make better decisions regarding his or her case moving forward.

One woman in Arizona will certainly want to make sure she makes meaningful choices after recently being taken into custody. According to reports, authorities were alerted to a wrong-way driver at approximately 1:30 a.m. The woman was allegedly driving south in the northbound lanes of a roadway. Officers were able to intervene and stop the driver without extreme measures.

The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was reported as being a 25-year-old woman. The incident resulted in her facing charges for aggravated DUI and endangerment. The circumstances that warranted the enhanced DUI charge were not detailed. Information regarding her blood alcohol concentration level was not given in the report. Additional facts about the incident may be available at a later time.

This Arizona woman may wish she had not made the bad decision that led to this scenario. However, she can do her part to make the most out of this ordeal. In efforts to make good choices as her case proceeds, she may want to become more knowledgeable on the criminal charges brought against her and her available defense options. This information may allow her to feel more confident in her decision-making abilities.
